How about a quick and easy decluttering list to kick off your summer break? You won't miss these items (promise) and it will help with impromtu packing for the beach or the pool...

You may have already started assessing your pool and beach towel situation, if you haven't, now is the time! While you're at it, go ahead and take a look at all of your towels. Those that are frayed, dingy, and have seen better days? Time to let them go! A note, save a few for utility purposes: a rainy day, your dog's bath time, an unexpected kitchen floor clean up... it's never a bad idea to have a few on hand.

Coolers, tote bags, and reusable grocery bags: Today's coolers aren't like the styrofoam or Igloo's of the 1900s, they're colorful, fancy, and expensive! Still, they take up valuable space and they're often gifted leading to and excess amount. Take stock of ALL of the tote bags that multiply as well as your reusable grocery bags. Maybe you can let go of a few? When totes pile up in my house, I use them to do a quick sweep and fill them with other donations, a win-win!

It takes little time to do a sweep of the kids' bathing suits that they've outgrown but how about your own? Do you have a few that are a little stretched and you can part with? Also... are you holding on to one or two that you're hoping to fit into? Here's a tip, don't let the guilt get to you. When you're ready for a new suit after hitting your fitness goals, won't it feel good to treat yourself to something new and fresh? No shame but just a thought!

Last but not least, let go of those unrealistic expectations! It's easy to get FOMO when you're scrolling and seeing everyone's fun vacation pics but you can enjoy summer your way (JOMO?). Whether it's a staycation, a quick weekend away, or anything in between, remember that it's the little moments and quality time that ultimately make great memories. You do you!

Hoping these little tips are helpful in easing some overlooked, seasonal items that can pile up and wishing you a wonderful summer!!
